SRE.college uses Muser, a web application that provides a structured way for mentors to post research projects for students, for students to find and apply for those projects, and for mentors to review applications and accept and decline them.
Mentors can use Muser rather than whatever ad-hoc method they’ve been using, like emails or word-of-mouth. The system uses defined rounds, so students know that there’s one place and scheduled times where they can apply for projects, and they will always get a decision on every application they submit.
